The Island!

The Island was a typical Michael Bay Movie! You should either love it or hate it; And I didn’t hate it! If you find watching The Rock, Bad Boys (I & II), Armageddon and Pearl Harbour enjoyable and entertaining, you will enjoy The Island. Otherwise, don’t bother!

My favorite scenes were:

1) The truck chase [HQ - LQ] with awesome combination of real car crashes and computer graphics.

2) McCord (Steve Buscemi; Surprisingly the good guy this time!!!) explaining “the one universal truth” to the male clone! [HQ - LQ]

3) Various advertisments (e.g. MSN Search Booths, BT Boath Race, XBOX Interactive thingamajig, etc.). Very clever stuff!

By the way, ‘”The Amistad Dude” turning into a good guy’ was sooo predictable!!!
