Dear Mr Terrorist!
Dear Mr Terrorist,
It is 12th of September 2006. Five years and one day since you attacked New York and killed many innocents. The damned day will be remembered for years to come, but there was a reason I did not post anything on the 11th of September. Sounds crazy, but let’s face it. I think you have won. I think you have achieved the attention you wanted. There is not a single day that passes by without a warning of a terrorist threat or news of a terrorist attack or what have you! Not a single day. Citizens are scared. But guess what? I’m sick of it. I don’t want to give a damn about anything to do with you anymore. I am not going to let Bush or Blair or anybody else scare me of the danger that has always been with me. I am not going to be scared of old news. You want attention and they are giving you attention. But I won’t give you that. To me, you are just the same as Paris Hilton. You are an attention seeking whore. I won’t let Bush, Blair and the Tabloids force feed me anymore. From now on, I will pay attention to you as much as I pay attention to my government, bitching and nagging about difficulties of the war on terror. You don’t need to worry, though! People will buy tabloids and read the news about Paris Hilton. They’ll buy her posters and watch her movies and reality shows. They will pay for her nonsense albums. Just as how they will give up their civil liberties for no good. Just as how the will agree to the idea that if the hand luggage is “as big as a laptop case,” it cannot be a bomb!!! Bull Crap!
So there, I admitted that you have won and we have lost. That’s not the end of the world. Life goes on. Terrorists, Paris Hilton and George Walker Bush will be remembered by historians. Some will laugh at you. Some will hate them. Some will admire them. And some, like myself, won’t give a flying F about either of them.
