The Gods That Failed!

The Gods that failed over the last month or so:

- I: I failed to do something that I wanted to do. I won’t say more!

- Saddam Hussein: He is to be “executed by end of year.” That’s what Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri Maliki told the BBC on Tuesday. Eventhough the trial was obviously a joke, personally, I couldn’t care less. That’s what he gets for his own ignorance and selfishness. Although, I would have sentenced him to be hanged by his bollocks instead of his neck!

- Donald Rumsfeld: He would have been somewhere on top of the ruthless military dictators of the last 50 years if he wasn’t an American. Since January 2001 he managed to start two bloody and pointless wars and dodged his critics with his arrogance for almost seven years. Finally, he failed because people cared. I wouldn’t mind watching him hanging from his bollocks next to his old pal, Saddam!

- UN: I don’t think it’s fair to categorise the UN as God. It has been failing for as long as I can remember. Just add Sudan and North Korea to its long list of failures. Also remember to make some room for Iran and Venezuela on that list.

- Microsoft: After 11 years of my loyalty to Internet Explorer, Microsoft has failed to convince me that its IE7 web browser is better than Mozilla Firefox. I officially migrated to Firefox about two weeks ago and everyday since then I have been learning why I should not miss the annoying IE.

- Michael Schumacher: To be honest, I’m pretty sure I was the only one who supported Alonso. I agree that Schumacher was a fantastic F1 driver and what he did on his last race was simply magical. But still, he was an A-hole! And that’s that.
