White Powder!
Enough with music and movie review crap. It’s 1:30am and I’m bored to death. I’m going to write about something that I like. Not something that you might like!
Ever since I was a kid, I loved snow. Nothing was more exciting than waking up in the morning, looking out of the window and seeing everything covered in brilliant white snow. Those days where my Mom used to wake me up and tell me that the school was closed because of snow were the best of all. Even the days that I had to walk to school under the snow were fantastic. Hearing the crunching noise of my footsteps… Playing in the freezing weather with my friends… Making giant snowballs and rolling them all over the street to make the even bigger… Snowfighting for hours and hours and not giving a damn about our frozen gloves… Goddammit! I’m having a hardon even thinking about it!
And then I started skiing. The one and only sporting activity that I took seriously. For 17 years, I have not missed a single ski season. When I injured my knee 8 years ago, I thought I could never ski again. No one, apart from my cousin, ever knew or saw what happened that day. That bloody jump. Broken binding. Twisted knee. And the glorious faceplant, of course. But I did go again. And I will go again.
Sounds crazy, but I’ve always liked Winter more than any other season. Spring makes me sleepier than I am. Summer is hot and makes me sweat. And Automn bores me. Winter, on the other hand, is cool. You get to wear your gloves and boots and blow your nose all the time. I like gloves! “I like sex! High five!“
