Oh, nonono "my friend!" We do get calls from Colin and Jack and James. Haven't you ever had one of those "mobilephonedoubleglazingbestestoffer" calls? When was the last time you picked up the phone?

@Dan: DELL has moved all its customer service to India. It's not just USA. But one thing we don't get here in the UK from DELL services is the Indians pretending their names are "Clint Eastwood" or "James Smith", as they do for you guys over there in USofA ;)

Never had any experience with Dell customer service (except that time which I had to buy a laptop for certain somebody) anyways it seems to me that we have definitely passed the peak point of customer service oriented companies due to high sells and lower prices. It feels like they only have customer service just to catch up with competitors rather than to satisfy customers! Perhaps I shouldn't really talk about customer service anyway, cause where I come from Customer Service hardly exists!

Can I have my PC back now that for once I've written something other than I'm hungry??

Don't worry, Boback, Dell USA service sucks too! It all depends on what level of service you have. My school can only afford basic support, so we get the people who can't speak English. It's incredibly hard to get replacement parts or get a technician to come quickly. At my job where there's a bigger budget, Dell's very generous - we have a personal salesman, easy to get parts, and technicians come the next day! Either way, Dell should take care of all of its customers well.

Well that's nice of them, to NOT check or warn you when you bought the PC, that 4Gb of RAM wasn't going to be 4GB of RAM.

I hardly think it's the fault of M$. Since I am sure they would have done some tests to find out that 4GB of RAM was all accessed in their new shiny, highly hyped OS. I blame Michael Dell, and his gang of merry and useless men.

I've got nothing against DELL, but they've annoyed me once or twice before with their shitty service. DELL USA seems to be good though. Nikki has no complaints about her XPS 410 :)
