Lost Highway!
Can Bon Jovi ever release a bad album? Hmm, I don’t think so, really. They’re one of those groups that you either love or hate. If you love them, none of their songs is ever going to sound boring. If you hate them, well, you just hate them and you’re better off listening to your Snoop Dog crap! But still, regardless of your personal taste in music, you can’t deny the fact that Bon Jovi is original. Others try to copy Bon Jovi, but Bon Jovi always sings Bon Jovi!
Anyway… The new album, Lost Highway… Except for three tracks, it’s kindda slow in pace. There is no bouncy and energetic all time night club favorites like Livin’ on a Prayer or It’s My Life. But still, as it should be obvious from the album cover, this is a great album to have in your car. It’s literally a “highway” album. It won’t work as good on a the mountains or busy streets. When you’re sure you won’t be stopped for the next 100 miles and there won’t be any traffic on your way to slow you down, and when you don’t feel like speeding with Metallica (Yes, I’m talking to you, Mister! Yes, you!), Lost Highway is a nice alternative to your Chris Rea sellection!
