For The Smart, Only!

OK! You probably have already read my other post about TrustedPlaces. Even though I was paid to write that, everything I said was true. This post however, is my personal and public feedback after nearly a month of membership. Before I start, I need to make it clear here and now that they don’t work for my Dad! I don’t work for them! And I am not expecting a penny for this free buzz!!! In fact, this is more like my token of appreciation to them for being the most useful internet community I have ever joined.

Now, what’s so good about TrustedPlaces?! If you’ve ever Googled for a hotel or restaurant and looked for others’ opinions, you know what a pain it is to find what you are really looking for. But when you have access to a huge database of “real people and real places,” it’s like you’re in heaven! Here’s the list of what I like about TrustedPlaces:

There are no junk-food junky teenage members to annoy you unlike MySpace, Orkut or even YouTube! Only smart people who care about what they eat join. This is perhaps the most interesting thing about TrustedPlaces.

You get to know places that suit your taste, hobbies and interests.

It never gets boring. Unless, of course, if you decide to stop eating out for ever in which case, you’d be a boring person too!!!

You get to use your camera phones! Serisouly, after all these years, I don’t think I have taken more than a hundred photos with my camera phones! Considering that I’m a photography geek, that’s just weird. But since a month ago, every time I go to a restaurant, I have my mobile phone ready to shoot my plate!!!

It feels good to rant on the waiter who ruined your lunch! It also feels good to remember the delicious dinner you had last night!
